Clinical Immunology Society (CIS)
The Clinical Immunology Society, established in 1986, is devoted to fostering developments in the science and practice of clinical immunology. The mission of the Clinical Immunology Society is to facilitate education, translational research and novel approaches to therapy in clinical immunology to promote excellence in the care of patients with immunologic/inflammatory disorders. The primary objectives and purposes of the society are: to facilitate the interchange of ideas and information among physicians and other investigators who are concerned with immunological/inflammatory diseases; to promote research on the causes and mechanisms of diseases relating to the immune system and, as a result, to unify concepts of disease pathogenesis; to encourage investigators and clinicians to share in their knowledge of immunologically active drugs and other inventions; to promote application and dissemination of recent advances in biomedical science for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to immunity and inflammation; and to foster excellence in research and medial practice.

East-Central-European Infectious and Pediatric Immunology Centre for Training and Research
The East-Central-European Infectious and Pediatric Immunology Centre for Training and Research (ECE IPI CTR)is a recognized organization established in 1999, in Debrecen, Hungary. From educational and scientific point of views, the Centre is closely associated with the University of Debrecen. ECE IPI CTR functions as an institutional and regional infectious diseases and immunology centre with special attention to early diagnosis and treatment of patients with primary immunodeficiency disorders. Its essential role is the formulation of educational and scientific cooperation within the region of East-Central-Europe. From the conception aspects, ECE IPI CTR is tightly connected with the Interregional Association of the Carpathian Euroregion.

Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices
The Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (Bundesinstitut für Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte, BfArM) is an independent higher federal authority within the portfolio of the Federal Ministry of Health.
Roughly 1100 employees work at the BfArM with the aim of preventing health risks by continuous improvement in the safety of medicinal products and by risk monitoring of medical devices as well as by monitoring the legal traffic in controlled substances.
One of the main tasks of the BfArM is the authorisation of finished medicinal products on the basis of the German Drug Law. In the course of these licensing procedures it reviews the proof of efficacy, safety and adequate pharmaceutical quality of the finished medicinal products.

AIEOP-Italian Network of Primary Immunodeficiencies
The Italian Network of Primary Immunodeficiencies has been established in 1999 within the Italian Association of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology (AIEOP) with the aim to share common diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations. So far recommendations for agammaglobulinemia, common variable immunodeficiency, chronic granulomatous disease, transient hypogammaglobulinemia of infancy, Wiskott Aldrich syndrome, Del22 syndrome have been formulated and made available on a web site to medical doctors belonging to hospitals entering the Network. After 5 years this Network has proved effective in improving the awareness of these diseases among physicians, and in improving treatment and care of patients even through their local hospital.
