DR ANN GARDULF
President, INGID
Dr Ann Gardulf is an Associate Professor at the Karolinska University Hospital and Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden, where she lectures in immunology and allergy and is author of some 50 scientific papers. She also holds a number of academic and administrative positions there, such as Research Group Leader at the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Member of the Steering committee for Allergy Research.
Her specific scientific interest is in primary immunodeficiencies with focus on IgG replacement therapy, quality of life, health perceptions, patient satisfaction, patient education, coping, symptom distress, health perceptions and health economics. Anne was Founder and President of the Swedish Nursing Group for Immunodeficiencies (SISSI) from 1990-98 and Founder and President of the International Nursing Group for Immunodeficiencies (INGID) 1992-2000. She was re-elected as president in 2004 and retains that position today.
