MRS BIANCA PIZZERA

Chairperson, IPOPI

Bianca Pizzera is the founder of the Italian Patients Organisation for Primary Immunodeficiencies (AIP-Onlus) and has been on the Board of Trustees since its inception in 1991. Since retiring from her profession in the aeronautical industry, she has dedicated herself full time as a volunteer to the cause of Primary Immunodeficiencies.

At present Bianca serves as Chairperson IPOPI, Secretary of the Italian Patient Organisation and is the Editor of their Newsletter. Bianca strongly believes in the role of patients' organisations and the need to achieve improvement in the diagnosis, care and treatment of rare diseases
