MS AMENA WARNER

Vice President & Treasurer of International Nurses Group in Immunodefiency (INGID)

Amena Warner is a clinical nurse specialist in Immunology and Allergy and has been practising at St Helier Hospital, Surrey, UK for the past 6 years. After training at University College Hospital, London in 1979 she gained extensive experience in both hospital and community nursing, within both the adult and paediatric setting. Her paediatric training was gained at Great Ormond St Hospital for children in London, UK.

Amena currently holds these positions: Treasurer to the Royal College of Nursing Immunology & Allergy nurses group for the UK, Treasurer and Vice president for INGID, Council member of the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.

She also works closely with the Medical Profession & Patient's Organisation, to improve the patient experience and their quality of life within the field of Immunology. She also manages a service to train and enable patients with Immunodeficiency to treat themselves with therapy within their own home environment.
