MEDIA PROGRAMME
The EU Primary Immunodeficiency Consensus Conference is the first of its kind in Europe. For the first time, Primary Immunodeficiencies will be addressed as a Public Health issue in the EU. The Consensus Conference will:
- Reveal the extent of the negative impact that Primary Immunodeficiencies currently have on undiagnosed patients and on healthcare systems;
- Demonstrate the disparities in care and treatment for people with Primary Immunodeficiencies across Europe;
- Prepare the ground for immediate actions and initiatives that can be taken at Member State level to reduce the burden of Primary Immunodeficiencies.
In parallel, there will be a media programme including a press conference and one-to-one interview opportunities designed to help journalists get the best out of the Consensus Conference.
More information on the media programme will be available soon.
